ESCHER designs and supplies a comprehensive range of equipment for processing and conditioning of natural gas and hydrocarbon liquids.

Processes include gas / liquid dehydration and regeneration units (using glycol MEG, DEG, TEG), or desiccants (molecular sieves, silica gel), or low temperature separation (LTS), 2 / 3-phase separators, fuel gas packages, metering skids, etc.

Packaged gas process systems
ESCHER has a long experience and impressive track record in the supply of integrated skid mounted systems and process packages from the project proposal stage through process design, detailed engineering, project management, procurement and fabrication to turnkey installation and commissioning. ESCHER is competent to manage all EPC project phases.

Our scope includes the following oil and gas processing plants:

  • Natural / associated gas (sweet / sour) dehydration using glycol absorbents and solid desiccant adsorbents.
  • Hydrocarbon dewpoint control / hydrocarbon recovery from gas streams using Joule Thompson / mechanical refrigeration / silica gel processes.
  • Oil / gas treatment facilities for off-shore production platforms and onshore gathering stations.
  • Condensate fractionation / stabilisation and storage facilities.
  • Gas / oil / condensate / solids separation.
  • Indirect / direct fired heaters, gas fired / electric / steam / thermal oil.

Flare Systems

ESCHER’s Flare System experience spans more than six decades.

Our scope of services include process design, sizing, engineering and turnkey supply (including erection) of Flare Systems all based on individual process specifications, project and local site conditions.

Design
The design of Flare Systems covers process, noise and heat radiation. Smokeless and environmental specifications are met through additional steam or air injection. Arrangements may comprise multi ignition systems and auxiliary equipment such as KO drums, a molecular seals and flame monitoring.

Retractable flares

We are recognised as the developer of the derrick supported multiple retractable Flare System. This type of flare stack offers unique operational advantage allowing any one flare tip to be removed for maintenance or inspection whilst the other flares remain in operation, i.e. safe and no plant shutdown required.
